The 6pm question, answered once a week.
Eat
Sorted.
One kit to end the daily »what’s for dinner?«: plan the whole week in 15 minutes, shop once with a list sorted by store section, cook from a rotation you actually like. No diet, no rules — just the answer, decided once instead of seven times.

One Sunday. Quiet week.
Page 4 is the rotation you build over time. When it has 14+ meals you like, planning becomes copying — not deciding.
Sports day, late meeting, visitors? That’s the Emergency-Dinner slot (page 6), not a »fancy recipe« slot. Plan for the week you will actually have.
Page 3: produce, dairy, pantry, frozen. Shopping by section means one walk through the store, not five laps back and forth.
Page 5: chop, cook a grain, one sauce. Weeknight cooking drops from 45 to 20 minutes. Skip it freely — the plan works without it.
THE ONE RULE
Never plan a recipe that needs a second shopping trip midweek. If the week is chaotic, the answer is simpler food — not a better plan.
| Cooked on | Becomes leftover meal on | Where it’s stored |
|---|---|---|
Work/school lunches planned here too? One extra portion cooked the night before beats 8 € at the counter — five days a week, that’s a Money-Kit-sized saving.
SHOPPING RULES
Never shop hungry. List first, cart later.
Store brands for basics (rice, oats, canned tomatoes) — recipe brands for the one ingredient you can taste.
Total spent this trip: ________ · budget: ________
Build this list slowly. Every time a dinner works — quick, cheap enough, everyone eats it — write it in. After a month you never plan from a blank page again; you plan from proof.
This box saves the most money. Every removed »experiment« stops a 12 € wasted ingredient run.
Buy once. Chop once.
No 7 fully assembled meals in boxes. That’s the version people quit by Wednesday. Prep is components — you still cook fresh, just with the boring parts done.
New stuff goes behind old stuff. Leftovers always on the middle shelf at eye level — that’s where they get seen and actually eaten.
| Item | Made / opened on | Good until (your honest call: eat, cook, bin) |
|---|---|---|
This page is the difference between ordering in (25 €) and eating at home (3 €) on the worst day of the week.
Frozen veg + egg + any grain + any sauce = dinner.
Canned tomatoes + garlic + pasta = dinner.
Eggs + potato + onion = dinner.
Tortilla + anything in the fridge folded inside = dinner.
Stock cube + frozen veg + noodle = dinner.

»We’ll order in« is allowed — but only if BOTH say yes. One tired person who agrees out loud wins the vote. Ties go to eating at home.

ONE CHANGE NEXT WEEK
Not five adjustments — one. Swap one recipe, protect one chaotic night, cook one double portion. The rotation (page 5) grows by one good meal per week — that’s 52 by next year, and planning never hurts again.
