INSIDE
CV Sheet · Cover Letter · STAR Stories · 12 Interview Questions · Salary Scripts
Same calm style as trullz.com — free tools, zero hassle. Part of the TRULLZ product family (Quality of Life? Start with the Life Planner).
5 sessions. Then apply.
Fill page 3 with your last 10 years. One page is the goal — two only if you truly need it.
Run page 4 as a checklist. Keywords from the job posting go straight into your CV.
The frame on page 5 works for any company: change the slots, never the structure.
Page 6: write the six moments you are proud of. They answer 90% of all interview questions.
Pages 7–8: skim the 12 questions, find your money scripts. Now you apply — and negotiate like someone who read page 8.
| From – To | Company · Role | One result with a figure |

Clear the robot. Then the human.
70%+ of first screens happen by machine. Your CV must please both.
Four paragraphs. Never more.
1 · THE HOOK — why this company, said concretely (their product, their news, their mission)
2 · THE PROOF — my strongest result that connects to their problem
3 · THE FIT — the two skills in the job posting I already own, with mini-proof
4 · THE CALL TO ACTION — happy to show you in 15 minutes how I did X for Y
NEVER DO
"To whom it may concern", generic praise ("your innovative company"), excuses for gaps, more than three quarters of a page. Short wins.
Six stories. Every question.
S — Situation · T — Task · A — Action · R — Result (with a number!). One each for: conflict · failure · leadership · initiative · deadline · learning something fast.
Answer once. Reuse forever.
1 · Tell me about yourself (60 seconds, no biography!)
2 · Why us, why this role?
3 · Your greatest strength (with proof)
4 · A genuine weakness — and the fix
5 · Why did you leave / want to leave?
6 · A mistake you made (STAR #2!)
7 · Conflict with a colleague (STAR #1)
8 · Where do you see yourself in 3 years?
9 · How do you prioritize?
10 · What motivates you?
11 · What would your last boss say about you?
12 · Questions for them? (Always have 2 — "What does success look like after 90 days?")
Never first number.
WHEN THEY ASK YOUR EXPECTATION TOO EARLY
"I'd like to learn more about the scope first — what range is budgeted for this role?" (Then anchor slightly above the middle once they say it.)
THE COUNTER-OFFER
"Thank you — I'm highly motivated to join. My expectation, based on comparable roles and my results in X, is Y. If that works, I'm ready to sign this week."
FOLLOW-UP MAIL, 48 HOURS AFTER THE CALL
Thanks for today! Two things stuck: [specific detail] and [specific detail]. One thought about your challenge [X]: [1–2 sentences]. Looking forward to next steps. — Copy that pattern.
APPLICATION TRACKER — one row per application, roles included
| Company | Role | Sent | Follow-up | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
That's the whole kit. One quiet evening — and you apply like a professional, forever.
