How to use · ready in 4 short sessions

4 sessions. Then study.

Session 1 — Map the battlefield (30 min)

Page 3: write the exam date, list your topics, mark each red, yellow or green. No fake optimism — the map must hurt a little.

Session 2 — Plan the week (15 min)

Page 4: give every green-free slot a subject. Hardest subject goes where you are freshest — never last.

Session 3 — Build the recall deck (40 min)

Page 5: turn your notes into question–answer pairs. One question per card, answers you can say out loud in one breath.

Session 4 — Start the mistake book (15 min)

Page 7: from now on, every wrong answer goes in it. This single page is why you will pass and others re-take.

THE ONE RULE

Reading feels like learning. Recalling IS learning. If you only remember one thing: close the notes and answer out loud.

Subject Map · know where the gaps are

red = can't explain it   yellow = shaky   green = solid. Be honest — the map is only useful if it hurts.

MY TOPICS · every topic gets a colour + its two biggest gaps

RED — my top 3 priorities

GREEN — quick review only

Weekly Study Plan · realistic beats heroic

Hardest first. Always.

Read — first contact only.
Recall — closed notes, out loud (main method!).
Practice — old exams, timed.
Teach — explain to an empty chair; where you stall is where the gap is.

My anti-procrastination rule

Start timer for 10 minutes. Nothing else is allowed during those 10 minutes. Stopping after 10 is legal — continuing is normal, because starting was the hard part.

TRULLZ.
Active Recall · the #1 technique

Close the notes. Answer aloud.

Turn every topic into questions. Answers in one breath. Grade each one ① first try ② needed peek ③ failed — grade ③ goes to the mistake book.

QUESTION → ANSWER · one topic per session, 10 cards

DISTRACTIONS I WILL KILL

Phone in another room (not face-down — another room)
All chat notifications off before timer starts
Water + snack on the desk, so I never have to stand up
One paper for sudden thoughts → write, don't follow
My break rule

5 minutes, no screens. Stand up, look out of the window, breathe. Scrolling in breaks is how a 25-min session dies.

TRULLZ.
Mistake Book · why you will pass

Wrong once. Never twice.

Every wrong answer — practice exam, quiz, recall grade ③ — lands here within 48 hours. The book, not the notes, is what you study the last week.

MY MISTAKES · mistake → why → my rule → re-test date

THE LAST WEEK

From 7 days out: fresh learning is over. Only mistake book, formula card and timed practice exams. Everything else is hiding, not studying.

TRULLZ.
Exam-Day Checklist & Review

Calm is a checklist.

THE NIGHT BEFORE

7+ hours of sleep — non-negotiable, it IS studying
Bag packed: ID, pens, water, snack, formula card
Alarm set ×2, route to exam known
Mistake book skimmed once, no new topics

THE MORNING

Normal breakfast, moderate caffeine
Arrive early, phone OFF (not silent), breathe 4-4-8

IN THE EXAM — the plan

Read ALL questions first, mark easy ones
Easy questions first — bank the points, calm the mind
Budget minutes per question, watch the clock at half time
Never leave early — re-check the marked ones
Partial answer beats empty answer. Always write something.

FORMULA / FACT CARD · one page, carried everywhere in the last week

REVIEW · after the exam — 5 minutes, extremely valuable

That's the whole kit. Map → plan → recall → mistakes → checklist. Pass.
